Simon Fraser University focuses on inter-disciplinary programs, which allow its students a flexible education with an emphasis on breadth of study, writing and quantitative skills.
SFU earned the reputation as “The Instant University” as it grew from a vision for a school into a campus with 2,500 students in only 30 months time.
SFU has a large number of international students and is always looking to attract more with incentives like the International Mobility award which can provide students with up to $2500 to put towards their education at Simon Fraser University. SFU also has a partnership with Zhejiang University in China, which enables students to complete a 5 year computing science program and graduate with a degree from both schools.
